I’m a Georgian woman. I may be an accidental transplant to Indiana, but I’m all in for my family. I earned my PhD in biblical studies from Vanderbilt University, while I was also busy growing and birthing my first two daughters. Daughter number three was born during my first year as a tenure-track seminary professor.
Today, I do a bit of everything. I advocate for people experiencing homelessness. I teach. I preach. Sometimes, I even write books.
I’m a survivor. I’m a single mom. Life has not been easy in many ways. I’ve left two marriages where I was being hurt. I’ve left churches where I wasn’t believed. But while God doesn’t promise us that life will be easy, God does promise that he will be with us. My life is a story about God’s faithfulness.
Now, how about you? Tell me your story.
